Sins Invalid: Call for submissions



Sins Invalid is seeking submissions from performers, writers, visual artists and other cultural workers on topics of disability and sexuality for relationship-building and future collaboration.

This call is open to all artists familiar with the experience of disability, especially artists from queer communities and/or communities of color. Submissions can include all types of artistic expression – performance art, video, spoken word, dance, storytelling, song, visual media, and words on page – whose core expresses sexuality, power, healing, embodiment and activism.

Scott Ezell and Stimulate Dance, this Saturday March 8th



Experience a series of contemporary dance and performance pieces created exclusively for living rooms that consider intersections and nuances of sexuality, gender, commerce, and culture. Performed and created by a company of professional dancers and choreographers with live music by Scott Ezell!

Stimulate is a group of professional dancers and choreographers who have designed a show that is performed in private living rooms as a way of exploring performer-audience dynamics. Scott Ezell plays experimental acoustic guitar in the show, a combination of improvisation and original compositions. Get to know your artist-entertainers! After the performance, join us while audience and performers relax, dance, and enjoy the rest of the evening together!

Where: Eran's Condominium (98 Union St, #406 �Seattle, WA) - Just north of the 4 Seasons under construction, kitty corner from SAM.

When: Saturday, March 8th, 2008 DOORS open at 8:15, STIMULATE PERFORMANCE at 9pm, SCHMOOZING at 10pm!

How much: Tickets $20, $15 if you bring a bottle of wine to share.

What to wear: Comfortable clothes for dancing and lounging on cushions.
