Artist Call for Submissions: Washington Medical Center

The UWMC Art Program is interested in purchasing new or existing art works, in both 2 D and 3 D. All media will be accepted. The art program will not fund art work with nudity, religious or political imagery, or art that is hostile or confrontational.

The art work selected will be for the facilities at the University of Washington Medical Center and Roosevelt Clinic Buildings, located near the UWMC. All art will be displayed in public and patient care areas. Art selected should enhance the environment and provide enjoyment for the patients, visitors, and medical staff.

DEADLINE TO APPLY:Monday, April 6, 2009

FUNDING: From $500 to $6,000 is available for purchasing individual artworks. Total budget available is $40,000.
