Mark Woolley and the Anka Gallery: Wearable art call for submissions




Mark Woolley and the Anka Gallery are inviting artists to submit art for a new line of wearable art. This line of wearable art may include hoodies, t-shirts, jackets, shoes, ties, scarfs, skirts, etc.
The winning art and pieces by selected finalists will be exhibited in April at the Anka Gallery.
The winning artist will receive 20% of net revenue derived from sales of wearable art utilizing the artists work. The winning artist will be interviewed on a live webcast provided by unitedArtscene.

The call:
Artists are asked to submit art based on the provided theme. Media can include painting, drawing, photographically based work, mixed media, and prints. Submissions may not include content and images which have questionable copyright or trademark issues--i.e. existing commercial logos, copyrighted images, etc.

The theme is "Movie Posters", genres include:
Grind House
Psycho-Mod
Euro-Sleaze
Retro-Future Noir

Selection process:
The art will be selected by a jury of 5
Mark Woolley (gallerist, curator)
Anna King (gallerist, curator, artist)
Trish Grantham (artist involved in apparel design for Target)
Pam Baker Miller (owner, Frances May boutique)
Miles Cleveland Goodwin (painter, printmaker involved in apparel design for Los Angeles businesses)
