Curious, new and practicing art collectors alike will be inspired and delighted as this lively panel explores diverse perspectives on looking at art, the joy of collecting, and developing a personal vision­—while regaling the audience with stories of Northwest art and artists.

David F. Martin :: Co-owner, Martin-Zambito Fine Art
David is co-owner of Martin-Zambito Fine Art and is an independent arts researcher and historian who has documented the art history of Seattle and the Pacific Northwest since 1986.

Herb Pruzan :: Collector
Herb and Lucy Pruzan started their multi-faceted art collection as newlyweds. As a child, Herb regularly visited museums following his family’s interest in art. With no formal art education, Herb trained himself by learning about various media, working with art dealers, becoming involved in museums, and agreeing with most of the selections Lucy made. Starting off with a small budget, often purchasing on time, Herb and Lucy now enjoy a collection of works by leading artists of the Northwest.

Barbara Robertson :: Artist
Barbara is an artist, educator, conservator and curator. She is the founder of Seattle Print Arts, an association of artists, arts professionals and collectors who have an avid interest in the expanding field of print arts and an appreciation of the print media. Barbara is represented by Davidson Galleries.

Francine Seders :: Owner, Francine Seders Gallery
Francine has owned and operated Francine Seders Gallery in Seattle’s North end for over 40 years, hosting artists of strong regional reputations in the Pacific Northwest and handling works from the estates of Guy Anderson, Jacob Lawrence, and Mark Tobey.

Rock Hushka :: Curator, Tacoma Art Museum
Rock Hushka is the Curator of Contemporary and Northwest Art and Director of Curatorial Administration at the Tacoma Art Museum.

Seattle Art Dealers Association strives to create an atmosphere for the visual arts to thrive by providing informative programs for the public and organized events for artistic expression. The association works together to promote increased awareness of Seattle as the major international art center of the Northwest.
