CoCA's Heaven and Earth exhibition opened on Saturday June 27th to rave reviews. The Carkeek Educational Learning Center was packed with artists and supporters alike, the weather was perfect and people spend the days wondering around the park enjoying the exhibition. That's the good news.And now for the bad news... Unfortunately within a few days several pieces from artist Barbara DePirro were destroyed by vandals and Stephen Rock's installation was hit too (but at least not destroyed).
We were aware of this possibility and unfortunately it has become a reality. Shame too, Barbara's pieces were wonderful.
