Abrace with the MB Orchestra
On December 13th La Familia Gallery musician member, Rebeqa, will join vocal percussion ensemble, Abrace, and Seattle's very own MB Orchestra to present World Music of Peace.
World Music of Peace frames the spine-tingling 5-part vocal harmonies of Abrace against the driving rhythms of the MB Orchestra as they embrace Coptic, Arabic, Hebrew, Ladino music and more. The concert also showcases the high-energy Oud playing of the legendary Maurice Rouman as well as Middle Eastern and Afro-Brazilian dance, performed by Mahira and Dora Oliveira Newman.
